Elsie Vázquez-Long is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She received her Bachelors in Sociology at Connecticut College in New London, CT and master’s in social work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. Her clinical orientation includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused techniques, and practicing mindfulness. Her areas of interest include Trauma Focused CBT, Harm Reduction, and Empowerment Interventions.
