Chedene Ewart, LMSW

Chedene Ewart has been working with the department for the last 5 years starting her career being an intern for one year with the Behavioral Health department here at CHS while studying at the University of Connecticut. During this time, she worked closely with clinicians to develop the skillset necessary to work with individuals towards improving their overall well-being.  Chedene worked with both children and adults during this time experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. Currently, she primarily works with adults experiencing mental health and addiction challenges, while promoting integration for the encouragement of holistic approach care. She enjoys working with patients to address concerns while assisting these individuals in viewing themselves from a strength-based perspective. She preserves the ability to strike a balance between autonomy, guidance, and support; and believe that all individuals have the right to self-determination.
